Book Lovers Book Club

Book Lovers meets each month at Ladd Library. All are welcome. Summer book discussion selection and dates:

• June 9 - "Founding Mothers" by Cokie Roberts
  (This book will also be discussed with Iowa Public Radio’s Talk of Iowa Book Club at the Downtown Library on Tuesday, June 2, 6-7 pm.) 
• July 14 - "The Seed Keeper" by Diane Wilson
• Aug. 11 - "Small Great Things" by Jodi Picoult
  • Due to Ladd Library closing for the transition to the new Busse Branch in August, Book Lovers will meet at I'll Meet You There bookstore located at 62 16th Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids in August.

When a title is a part of a Book Club Kit, it will be ready for pick-up the month before it is discussed. Copies may be picked up in person or by hold at any Metro Library Network location. See staff for assistance getting additional copies.
