Join the all-ages meeting of the Cedar Rapids Chess Club from 5:30 to 7:30 pm weekly on Wednesdays at the Downtown Library for a relaxed, casual session playing this great universal game.

Join us for a fun-filled story time for children ages 2-5. This high-energy story time features stories, songs, and bubbles!

The internet has become an essential part of any job search, but with so many resources, as well as scams, it can be difficult to know where to even begin. This workshop can help!  

Staff from the Cedar Rapids Civil Rights Commission will be in the Commons at the Downtown Library on the first Thursday of the month from 2-4 pm. Feel free to stop by and chat with them about your questions and concerns. 

Stop by every other Thursday for various STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, & math) projects, while supplies last. Activities subject to change.

Are you interested in learning English, improving your communication skills, and connecting with others?  

Decompress with some relaxing puzzle time! Come as a group to work on a puzzle together, come solo to tackle a puzzle on your own, or join a collaborative table to complete a puzzle with others while we listen to cozy lo-fi tunes.

A 15-minute story and song program for newborns to three-year-olds, followed by a 45-minute playtime. 

Play some friendly games of Magic: The Gathering. We have tables for any format you wish. Looking for a Commander pod? Trying to meet fellow Pauper and Pioneer players? Bring your deck and bring it on!
