Join the all-ages meeting of the Cedar Rapids Chess Club from 5:30 to 7:30 pm weekly on Wednesdays at the Downtown Library for a relaxed, casual session playing this great universal game.

Join us for a beginner level chair yoga class. Instructor Tammy Bayer will adapt the class as needed to fit your needs and mobility levels. 

Join us weekly for Tango Práctica (practice), where you will learn the basic steps of tango and grow your skills in an encouraging, welcoming group. No partner required. Smooth-soled shoes recommended. 

Learn and practice the gentle forms of Tai Chi in this 12-week series with Bryan Bruner of Heritage Area Agency on Aging. Skills will build on each other from the first session to the last. The series runs Feb. 20-May 8. 

Teens are invited to vibe with us as we game, create art, and more. Activities will alternate each week. 

Teens will learn skills related to our Maker Spaces and equipment, such as the 3D Printer, Cricut, sewing, and an introduction to basic designs using computer software.

Join us for Dungeons & Dragons, the world renowned table top role-playing game. Our tables meet weekly for adventure and excitement. Handbooks (2014) and dice are provided.

Tee up to explore the library and enjoy book-themed mini-golf holes. Drop-in anytime between 1-3 pm to pick up a map and score card. Balls and putters will be located with each hole. All ages are welcome to test their putting skills!
