Both locations of the Cedar Rapids Public Library will be closed on Sunday, January 18 and Monday, January 19, in honor of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday.

Book Lovers meets each month at Ladd Library. All are welcome. Spring book discussion selection and dates:

  • March 10: "Gather" by Kenneth M. Cadow
  • April 14: "Their Eyes Were Watching God" by Zora Neale Hurston
  • May 12: "The Road to Little Dribbling" by Bill Bryson

When a title is a part of a Book Club Kit, it will be ready for pick-up the month before it is discussed. Copies may be picked up in person or by hold at any Metro Library Network location. See staff for assistance getting additional copies.
