August 14, 2025 - We are making some behind-the-scenes improvements to our OverDrive system to streamline the experience and reduce confusion for users. These changes will be implemented on Thursday, August 21, 2025.
What You Need to Know:
- Your current checkouts and holds will stay exactly as they are — no need to do anything!
- Most users won’t notice any changes at all.
- In some cases, borrowing history/timeline may be lost. If you’d like to save this information, you can do so manually by viewing your history and taking a screenshot or copying it elsewhere.
- If you replace your library card in the future, your OverDrive account will be maintained.
This change helps ensure a more consistent and user-friendly experience for everyone.
If you do run into issues, remove your card and re-add it, rather than removing/uninstalling the application. This should correct the problem. You may be asked to provide your pin number when you do this, so please be sure you have that handy. You can reset your pin in your library account online. See the image below for an example.
