Downtown Library, Third Floor Gallery: Sam Weis

Sam Weis studied fine art at the University of Iowa. She has lived and painted in Iowa, Seattle, Washington’s Kitsap Peninsula, and Islamorada in the Florida Keys.

Sam is also an accomplished guitarist, singer, and an award-winning songwriter with six recordings to her credit. In March of 2023, her first novel, “Abstraction,” was released by Kasva Press.

Downtown Library, Skywalk Gallery: Building Block Challenge

Original LEGO creations by community members will be on display from Dec. 1 to Feb. 27.

Ladd Library, Gallery: Reflections

Older adults and teens in our community were asked to reflect and express their unique perspectives of self, community, and their personal experiences on canvas. This exhibit seeks to help Cedar Rapidians better understand and celebrate one another.
