Program Description

Event Details

Leo Bird is a multimedia artist, singer, and storyteller. He brings works of Staedtler markers on drawing pad to the Ladd Library Gallery this summer.

In his own words, "I tell true stories about fitting in, building talent and character, and autism, because I have autism, using drawings as a visual aid. Statistics I address in my stories are that more than half of high schoolers are unprepared for college and a third of Americans are lonely. I draw to create the maximum amount of contrast between colors using the minimum amount of color. Fellow artists say I draw like Alex Katz."

You can find Leo Bird at leobirdstandsup.com.

This exhibit will run from June through July 2026.
