Experimenting with Blackout Poetry

Wrap up National Poetry Month with an exploration of blackout poetry! Blackout poetry, also known as erasure poetry, involves taking an existing page of text and creating a new poem by carefully choosing words to highlight on the page and blacking out all the rest. 

Whether you've had any prior experience with this style of poetry or not, you're welcome to join us and do some experimenting. Materials will be provided for the program.
