Beginner Sewing Class: Farmers Market Tote Bag

Please Note: You must be able to operate a sewing machine and be able to sew a straight line. Please take a few one-on-one sewing classes through the Library's Maker Spaces before signing up for this program if you have never sewn before. 

This strong fabric shopping bag will hold your fruits and vegetables, your groceries or your favorite project when you are out and about! It is easy to make and reduces plastic waste. Learning to make this basic bag will provide you with the skills to make additional bags in the size and style you want.
