Are you ready to engage your creativity and imagination in an artful undertaking? When was the last time you called the right side of your brain forward on purpose? We meet 5:30-7:30 pm on the first Thursday of the month at the Downtown Library for hands-on recreational arts and crafts projects with bookish themes for adults of all ages.
For January’s project, we will use poster board, recycled books, glue sticks, markers, and/or watercolors to create vision boards, and begin our new years inspired! This will be your 2017 life map: a collage of visual images that evoke positive responses in you or that suggest potential actions you want to make happen. Take time to reflect on where you are in your life right now, and how you feel, and project those feelings into the future along with new ideas about things you’d like to achieve. Come in, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, and get ready to co-create with the universe!
Each project in the Bookish Arts & Crafts series is selected to be completed within the session, and will vary each month in the type of materials and techniques used. Not a skilled crafter? No problem! Come and play around with what we have on offer, and see where your creative mind takes you.
Register now to reserve your place. We look forward to seeing you!
