The Cedar Rapids Public Library recognizes the importance of offering library services to citizens of Cedar Rapids and rural Linn County who are unable to use those services in the traditional manner.

It is the policy of the board of trustees to offer library services to all day care centers, preschools, nursing homes, retirement centers, and the homebound elderly, handicapped, and disabled in a fair, equitable, and nondiscriminatory manner.

The type of service and the method of its delivery may vary and will be determined by administrative guidelines prepared by the library director, within the confines of the current library budget.
