I am new to computers, which class should I take?
For someone with little or no computer knowledge, we recommend taking A Mouse in the House.
How can I sign up for a class?
Patrons can sign up using one of two methods. Call the library at 398-5123 and select option #3 or visit our website www.crlibrary.org, select Computer Classes in the Programs & Events menu on the left side of the website.
How do I cancel a class?
Please call the library at 398-5123 and select option #3. This option is not available through the website.
How long are the classes?
All classes are approximately 90 minutes long.
How much does it cost to take a class?
They are FREE!
Is there a class size limit?
Each class is limited to 8, 10 or 12 students. The limits for each class are listed below. Individuals may sign up for a class that is full. They will be put on a waiting list and contacted in order of their sign up date should an opening become available.

Some of your classes have downloadable handouts. Am I required to print them off to bring to class?
No, the library offers the class handouts online as a convenience in case you lost a copy or needed another one.
When are patrons notified about classes they have signed up for?
Patrons who have a seat reserved for a class are called a day or two before the class is scheduled.
If a patron cancels the day of the class do you notify patrons on the waiting list?
No, we do not contact patrons on the waiting list if this occurs.
When do you offer classes?
Classes are offered on Tuedays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Times for each class will be at 10:00 a.m., 1, 3 or 6:30 p.m.
You have a class that I am interested in scheduled for 6:30 p.m., will it be offered at other times?
We try to vary the times and days we offer classes. If a section of a class is offered at 6:30 p.m. we try to schedule the next section at a different time and day.

When are new class schedules posted?
Schedules are posted every 3 months. New schedules will be posted at the beginning of the final month of the current schedule. Ex: The schedule for January - March will be posted at the beginning of December.
Do you ever add new sections to an already posted schedule?
Yes. If all of the sections of a class for the current schedule are full and each corresponding waiting list has a high number of patrons we will try to expand by adding an additional section.
Are you offering any new classes?
Beginning with the January 2008 schedule, new classes were offered to the public: Search the Net, and Job Hunting with the Internet.
